In rural areas, livestock — the backbone of farming families — often lack access to basic veterinary care. We are here to bridge this gap.

What We Do
Comprehensive, Community-Driven Animal Welfare
Mata Pushpa Devi Animal Welfare Association runs a compassionate, community-driven animal welfare programme across India. We rescue injured and abandoned animals, provide free veterinary care, run mass vaccination and sterilisation drives, and work closely with local communities to promote humane treatment of all animals — domestic, stray, and wildlife.
Our approach is two-pronged: curative care for animals already in distress, and preventive action to reduce suffering before it begins.

Moti — The Street Dog
Moti was found badly injured near a busy Delhi highway, unable to move. Our rescue team reached him within the hour, provided emergency care, and nursed him back to full health over three weeks. Today he has a loving home.

Ganga, a dairy cow owned by a small farmer in rural Haryana, had been ill for weeks. Her owner could not afford treatment. Our free vet camp reached their village just in time — today Ganga is healthy and the family's livelihood is secure.

A peacock found with a broken wing near a highway in Rajasthan was rescued by our team and handed to the forest department for rehabilitation. After two months of care, it was released back into its natural habitat.
